(UPDATE 8th May 2021)

We hope you and your families are keeping safe and well.

Further to previous announcements, we have had final confirmation from all the different parties involved that Sunday 26 September 2021 is officially the date for the Rotary Cathedral to Castle Run. Planning and organisation work has been on-going and continues on the assumption that with the rapid roll out of injections, the COVID situation will improve to the extent necessary to enable the Rotary Cathedral to Castle Run to take place on Sunday 26 September.

The event is organised by the four Rotary Clubs of Lichfield and Tamworth with all proceeds being channelled to local charitable worthy causes. These causes need our support more than ever. Details of some of the charities supported in prior years are listed in the FAQ section of the website.

Over the last few months, we have been publishing a series of posts, including videos, on the Cathedral to Castle Run Facebook page. Some of these posts have focused on training and dietary matters, but many have kept runners up to speed with how, why and when things will happen. This is something that will continue during the lead up to the Run, we hope you will find them of interest and useful.

Finally, we can confirm that the booking’s made by all runners who registered for the April 2020 date, will carry forward to the new date.

To all our participants and partners, thank you for your on-going support and understanding. We are in challenging times and the impact on events such as this is frustrating for everybody. Nevertheless, we maintain an optimistic outlook and look forward to brighter times ahead.

Stay safe and healthy everybody.
